This is Haylie Laughing at...

Becky's website. Dave took a video of her watching different animations and this is a frame from that video. Dave had shown Haylie a few animations weeks earlier and when she saw his computer, she requested specific videos to watch. She loves them! Her top three favorites:

3. Harry's Brithday, especially when she pushes on "D" and Uncle Davey's head rolls on screen.
2. Zack (or the "baby" as she calls him) eating the cupcake.
And number one is... The dog blowing a bubblegum bubble. She LOVES it.

We've had a lot of fun with this, thanks Beck.

FOUND (Round Two)

After breaking out in tears every two hours for a week and a half, fasting, and praying, I finally gave up on finding my wedding ring. I'd just given in to the fact that it was lost forever when I bent over to look for the pig from our "Pass the Pigs" game, and there it was (my ring, not the pig, I'm not sure where he yet). Forget about the pig, forget about the iPod, I have a wedding ring.

LOST

I have a problem. I thought I got over it, but I guess not. In high school I lost my keys so many times, my mom gave me sets for my birthday presents. In one year, I had to get five new drivers licenses. For the last year I haven't lost anything. Until last week.

MISSING:
-One Cute Mustard Shirt
-One Plain Red Tank Top
-One 30 Gig iPod
-One Gross Retainer
-One Favorite Wedding Ring

GOOD NEWS:
Since posting yesterday, I found two of the five items (mustard shirt and gross retainer). I'd rather have the wedding ring than all the rest of it, so hopefully we'll find it soon.

The Salsa Secret

Dave's really good friends Scooter happened to marry my really good friend Michelle. Michelle lived in Mexico a year ago. Occasionally, she cooks us an authentic Mexican fiesta. We took her salsa recipe, changed a few things and now it is the perfect companion for tortilla chips. The other day she came over and she had some of this salsa and couldn't believe it was her basic recipe. She loved it! So do we, so I thought I'd share the secret:

1.5 TBS Lime Juice
3 Roma Tomatoes
1/4 of a small purple onion
11 Pinches (about 5 leaves a pinch) cilantro
+ Salt to taste

The fresher the ingredients, the better the salsa. Chop up all the above ingredients a electric chopper, in any order.

This recipe is just a starting point, sometimes is works well the first time, but sometimes the cilantro is too bland or the onion is too strong, so you have to add more to make it just right. Dave likes to add hot peppers, but I'm allergic. Let us know if you have any alternatives, so we can try them.

Enjoy!

Harry

Some things we like about Harry:
-He does his own thing. He is not going to do something because everyone else is or because you want him to.
-He's imaginative. Like when he comes up with stories to play out with Kitty and his cars.
-He's sneaky. This is fun for us, probably not for John and Brooke.
-He's loving. (eg. Kitty and when he used to follow me around saying "Friend.")

We think you're cute Harry!

A h-e-double hockeysticks of a couple

We decided that we weren't really married or even a couple until we had gone in a photobooth together. So we are announcing to everyone that it is official now. Mikelle and I are now a couple married for time and all eternity. Click on the picture to read the captions.

Stuck in the Bell

When Dave and I were dating someone left a few seasons of "Saved by the Bell" at his apartment. It became a small addiction for us at the time. I think the good morals we learned from the show helped us make good choices during our engagement.

The addiction has struck again. We have a NetFlix trial and we can watch "Saved by the Bell" episodes on Dave's computer. Enjoy the above video (from the episode where Jessie is addicted to caffeine pills) and check out the poll on the right-hand side of the screen.

Pick-A-Boo and Spooky

For Labor Day Dave and I went down to Zion's National Park with my family. Dave got to go repelling with my brother and dad. This picture is of a hike in Escalante (Pick-A-Booo and Spooky). It was great. (Though Spooky was a bit scary, it got at little tight at the end.)
